I work at the The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). I work together with the inspectors outside and the policy workers at the Ministry to connect the national policies with the on-farm inspections.

Currently, my main focus is on animal welfare of dairy cows, calves, sheep and goats on farms. However, I work closely together with collegues specialised in beef cows, horses and transport and slaughter of ruminants and equines.
