Meetings

EURCAW Ruminants & Equines organises annual meetings with representatives from the Competent Authorities and their Supporting Bodies, and the National Reference Centres for Animal Welfare in EU Member States. Participants for these meetings are invited by EURCAW Ruminants & Equines.

There are quarterly meetings with the four EURCAWs and the four EURCAWs meet with the European Commission (DG Sante) three times a year. Since 2026, each EURCAW has also held bilateral meetings with their Policy Officer at DG Sante. Furthermore, as a pilot, our Centre has initiated short online meetings (‘Briefings’) with Competent Authorities once every two months.
