Community of Practice
Welcome to the EURCAW Ruminants & Equines Community of Practice (CoP) for EU Competent Authorities with responsibility for the welfare of ruminants & equines. The CoP consists of two forums, designed for:
- Policy Workers
- Official Inspectors
The aim of this platform is to support the exchange of knowledge amongst these two independent cohorts regarding the implementation of animal welfare regulations relating to ruminants and equines. It is password protected, and only Policy Workers and Official Inspectors employed by EU Competent Authorities are able to participate.
The CoP hosts scheduled discussions on welfare topics, with a particular focus on those included in the EURCAW Ruminants & Equines work programme. Policy Workers and Official Inspectors also have the opportunity to initiate discussion on other welfare topics and contribute to shaping future work programmes. We may also ask for your feedback on current EURCAW activities.
