By utilising a video-based format, the Centre aims to make complex research and technical guidance more accessible to a broader audience across the European Union.

The inaugural video shared by EURCAW Ruminants and Equines focuses on the thermal comfort of ruminants and equines. This content is based on the thematic factsheet which details how these species adapt to various thermal conditions and provides evidence-based recommendations to support their physiological needs. The video serves as a practical extension of the Centre’s written documentation, translating scientific data into a format that supports the implementation of best practices in animal management.

In addition to scientific guidance, the video and its corresponding factsheet outline the relevant EU legislative requirements concerning thermal comfort.
