Two new factsheets are now available in the Welfare Topic on Access to Pasture. The Thematic factsheet (TFS) provides definitions and summarises the knowledge on access to pasture, describing the benefits and risks for behaviour, health and production across a number of ruminant species and equines. The animal welfare indicator factsheet (IFS) provides key factors to appropriately manage pasture access for ruminants and equines, and provides recommendations for inspection.
