EURCAW Ruminants & Equines has published an indicator and thematic factsheet on confinement in domestic horses. The indicator factsheet provides key factors to appropriately manage group and single housing in domestic horses along with recommendations for inspection. The thematic factsheet provides knowledge on the needs of horses for social contacts and movements and issues related to confinement.
