EURCAW Ruminants & Equines has added new definitions to the website glossary. These terms include working equid, Thermoneutral Zone (TNZ), Temperature-Humidity Index (THI), slaughter, social facilitation, on-farm emergency slaughter, heat stress, fitness for transport, emergency killing and depopulation.

The glossary provides definitions for the terms used in our scientific reviews, factsheets, news items etc. Technical terms used in news items are also hyperlinked to the glossary. As we prepare new outputs, more terms will be added to the glossary. We would also welcome your suggestions!
