EURCAW Ruminants & Equines publish Thematic and Animal Welfare Indicator factsheets. The Thematic factsheets summarise the peer-reviewed scientific literature on a welfare topic. Indicator factsheets focus on the practical aspects of official inspections and outline the underlying welfare concern, the legal requirements, and recommendations on how to assess a particular welfare topic.
As part of our mission, we are working towards translating both Thematic and Indicator factsheets in to EU official languages. Currently a variety of factsheets are available in Dansk, Deutsch, Ελληνικά, Español, Français, Magyar, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski, Português, Slovenski an4 Svenska, in addition to the original English publications.
