Community of Practice

Welcome to the Community of Practice (CoP). The pilot phase has been completed and the CoP for Policy workers is ready to launch.

The CoP consists of two forums, designed for:

  1. Policy workers in the Competent Authorities
  2. Official Inspectors nominated by their Competent Authorities in EU member states

The aim of this platform is to support the exchange of knowledge amongst these two cohorts  regarding the implementation of animal welfare regulations relating to ruminants and equines. It is password protected, and only Policy workers at Competent Authorities and Official Inspectors nominated by their Competent Authority will be able to participate.

The CoP will have topics scheduled for discussion– with a focus on those within the EURCAW Ruminants & Equines work programme. There is also an opportunity for Policy Workers and Official Inspectors to initiate a topic and influence future work programmes. We may also ask for their feedback on current EURCAW activities.

We are currently accepting  registrations from Policy Worker in all EU Member States. The CoP for Official Inspectors will commence later in 2025.
